At just over one square mile, Frick Park is a Pittsburgh jewel. The park is home to a wide diversity of plants, animals, and other living organisms; native, introduced, sometimes invasive. It is a place for people to get together, and to find solitude. And throughout the pandemic, it was a refuge. Here is a distillation of an ongoing project documenting the park, begun in March of 2020.
